Here are some photos from the past two months... it has been pretty hectic. I started a new job, we've done some travelling and had visitors. I'm just getting around to unloading all of these pics! 

Mom and her Paul came to visit... we did some sightseeing. 

Both Maya and I got the flu and stayed sick at home for a day.

Four months old today- according to the calendar... So we took her on her first hike ever! Of course she passed out until we reached the top.

She loved it si much that she passed out within the first mile.... We're puttin old Dad's legs to work here- there are hills everywhere!

She doesn't quite fit in it yet, but loves it! And the boys love that she is at their height!

While not crawling yet, Maya is able to lift her head up and slither around.

News...

At three months old, I'm already learning that some of the hardest news to swallow from Maya will more than likely pertain to boys... Yesterday we got news that she has a boyfriend in daycare... His name is Josh...

The past year...

I was browsing through this old blog and I was amazed at how quickly time goes by. Here's a VERY abbreviated version of the last year or so...  

About a year ago (July 2011), Mom and I took a whirlwind trip to Turkey, France and Greece. Who would have thought this would be our last girls trip before I'd become pregnant with little Maya.  

6 or 7 weeks after we returned, and about 12 pregnancy tests later... Paul and I were expecting a baby!!!! 9 months ensued... and so did work, school and an impending move to Hanover, NH. 
The photo below is of Paul and I at the National Harbor, DC, about two days before Maya.

 On April 29th, 2012, after being induced, and after 30 hours of labor... little Maya Nicole Turbeville was born at Inova Hospital in Alexandria, VA. Mother, Benji, Chilean cousins and doula (Yhara) all came to the hospital!

Later, "Nina" came to visit...

Mom came back again...
