Ok, so a brief update from my last posting on my xanga blog (http://www.xanga.com/kiwiscoremore). I'm moving to blogger because everybody is doing it... I'm a crowd pleaser, hence I'm following the cool kids.
since August 2007:
-Paul came home on November 13th from Iraq... it is SO NICE to have him home!! YEah, i definitely have a little less time for myself, but it's so worth it to have him here (plus, he cooks a mean steak-of any kind)
-I finished the 1/2 Ironman and signed up for another one this coming July in Rhode Island
-Celebrated our wedding (again) on Jan 5th at Westpoint, NY.
-One of our really good friends here in KY (Teddy) died in a motorcycle accident a couple of weeks ago. We're all quite devastated, though last week we found out Teddy left Beth with a little 6 week old suprise in the oven- yay for a mini Teddy (or Theodora?)!
-I'm half way through my MBA
-We're undertaking remodeling projects on our new home...yikes
-We're "test-driving" a cat; hopefully we can get our dogs to mingle happily with our new buddy (to be named)
-Paul has been offered a job as XO (one of those silly Army acronyms)for a pretty cool guy who happens to also be a triathlete... I figure he'll help me get Paul sucked into the triathlon world
-Speaking of which, I'm starting to train much earlier for the 1/2 Ironman this year. I really want to do well and improve my times- specially for running.

Trying to figure life out one day at a time. Sometimes I get it, but usually I just end up more confused.
